Lives in Norristown, PA with his life partner and three cats. Started painting with the Greater Norristown Art League as an adult and has fallen in love with it ever since. Primarily focuses on soft pastel as a medium. Subjects include landscapes, architecture and people. Takes a special interest in movement and perspective.

Soft pastels help the painting focus on the big picture and what really matters. They engender playfulness and nudge the painter to adapt. Soft pastels don't require time to dry and don't change color with time. They can be put down fast to capture changing light, and shine brilliantly without hesitation.
